Data shows Wisconsin Democrats are seeing dramatic election enthusiasm ahead of the Nov. vote: party chief

Speaking to MSNBC on Sunday, Wisconsin Democratic Party Ben Wikler cited data from the 2018 election to compare to this year's midterm vote. According to him, they've already surpassed their goals for participation.

Typically during midterm elections, the president's party flops. So, in 2018, that was supposed to be a horrific election for Donald Trump. But according to Wikler, the numbers are favoring the Democrats more in the state there than when Trump was in office.

Mike Lindell claims he sent subpoenas to several people like James Clapper and John Brennan

Pillow vendor Mike Lindell claimed that he sent a number of subpoenas to people, which includes retired Lt. Gen. James Clapper, the former director of national intelligence under Barack Obama's administration and Former director of the CIA John Brennan.

The problem with the claim is that an individual citizen can't randomly send subpoenas without filing lawsuits and having those subpoenas approved by the court. He has claimed that he's launching a lawsuit against the FBI after they seized his cell phone as part of the Justice Department probe around fake electors.

Judge says Alabama cop can't be sued for shooting and killing unarmed cancer patient recovering from surgery

An Alabama police officer who shot and killed his neighbor is being saved from litigation after claiming that the 34-year-old cancer patient was behaving erratically after having brain surgery, said AL.com.

“The Court recognizes that Spivey’s erratic, aggressive, non-compliant behavior may have been due to his medical condition,” U.S. District Judge Emily C. The president is asking that the Justice Department stop classifying cannabis as the same as heroin, noting "it makes no sense." It would move cannabis away from a Schedule I drug. It has been part of the lobbying from veterans groups and other health groups about the benefits of cannabis.

In a video just released by the White House, President Joe Biden says, "First: I’m pardoning all prior federal offenses of simple marijuana possession. There are thousands of people who were previously convicted of simple possession who may be denied employment, housing, or educational opportunities as a result. My pardon will remove this burden."

Thanks to Trump, Christian groups are convinced it's the apocalypse — and some are finding ways to profit

The zombies aren't in the streets and the four horsemen haven't been spotted yet, but many Christians believe that the end is nigh. Any time there are natural disasters like major weather events and outbreaks of disease like COVID-19 or major international events such as the Russian invasion of Ukraine, it piques speculation about the Biblical end times. But that isn't what's causing an increase in interest of the end of the world, according to a new analysis.

Slate explained that it makes for the perfect opportunity for booksellers to begin profiting off of the paranoia. Citing Publishers Weekly, slate noted a number of apocalypse books are coming out to meet the demand. It isn't the first time, however. Evangelicals thought the end times were coming in 2017 because Trump moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem and Christian theocrat Roy Moore briefly rose to prominence.
