Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders' response to President Joe Biden's State of the Union Address was roundly slammed by Austin Bailey in an editorial for the Arkansas Times published on Wednesday.

Former Democratic strategist and infamous southerner James Carville bashed Republicans for their behavior during the State of the Union Address on Tuesday, calling them "white trash."

"Well, you know, I told people I have a PhD in white trashology, you saw real white trash on display," said Carville, speaking to MSNBC's Ari Melber. "Let me say something about congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), she dresses like white trash. She really needs a fashion consultant. I recommend George Santos. He could do a good job of dressing up where she doesn't announce her white trashdom by her own clothes."

During a House Oversight Committee where former Twitter executives fielded questions from lawmakers regarding censorship on the platform, Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) revealed that Trump's White House had asked the social media platform to remove a tweet by Teigen in September 2019.

Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) on Wednesday mocked House Republicans for holding a hearing in which they berated former Twitter executives for allegedly censoring conservatives on the platform.

Roughly two hours into the hearing, Frost delivered a short speech in which he deemed the entire exercise to be pointless.

Rep. Daniel Goldman (D-NY) clashed with House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer (R-KY) on Wednesday over allegations of corruption involving President Joe Biden and his son.

Goldman took aim at a New York Post article highlighted by Comer alleging that Hunter Biden introduced a Ukrainian businessman to his father, who was vice president at the time, and said he learned as House impeachment manager during the first inquiry against Donald Trump that those claims were "categorically false."

She excoriated him because her account had been permanently suspended for Covid misinformation until it was reinstated under Elon Musk's ownership of Twitter.
