The situation is growing worse for Russia as the consequences for those tied to President Vladimir Putin are continuing to face the consequences for his invasion of Ukraine.

In the past, one of Putin's daughters was forced out of her home in the coastal French town of Biarritz. Activists broke into it and sifted through items searching for information on her father. Both daughters are facing sanctions along with Russian oligarchs.

Another woman has come forward saying that she too was pressured into having an abortion by Republican U.S. Senate candidate Herschel Walker. In this case, the woman claims that Walker drove her to the abortion clinic.

"A new woman (Jane Doe) will speak today, October 26, 2022, at a press conference with her attorney, Gloria Allred, to allege that she had a romantic, intimate relationship with Herschel Walker and that he drove her to an abortion clinic to have an abortion after she became pregnant as a result of her relationship with him," a press release said.

Arizona Republican calls vigilante drop-box stalkers 'stupid'

Over the past week, a group of MAGA Republicans have been camping outside of drop-box locations in Arizona and a least one Republican is attacking them as "stupid."

Individuals have been heavily armed, others wearing body armor, but all of them are filming and taking photos of those who are dropping off their ballots. In one case that has been referred to the DOJ, a voter was approached and followed by a group of people when dropping off their ballot.

On Tuesday, rapper Kanye West was dropped from Adidas after a slew of bad publicity about West's anti-Semitic comments linking to the brand's founders' relationship with the Nazi party and contract providing shoes to Nazi soldiers in World War II.

The View hosts clash over Republicans trying to scare people over crime while shrugging off gun violence

The co-hosts of The View clashed on Wednesday after debates where Republican candidates cherrypicked crime statistics and blamed Democrats for them.

In the Michigan and New York gubernatorial debates, both Republican candidates Lee Zeldin and Tudor Dixon blamed Democrats for the increase in crime. In Michigan, the two clashed over school shootings, which Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) said necessitated regulations on guns. Dixon cited other ways in dealing with the problem like security guards.

Former megachurch pastor demands $500,000 from alleged rape victim for causing him 'humiliation and embarrassment'

Former Church of the Highlands pastor Micahn Carter is suing his rape accuser, claiming that his life has been made more difficult since the rape accusations. He's suing the woman he allegedly raped for $500,000, reported AL.com.

Carter disputes the rape allegation and has accused the alleged victim of defamation. The woman who came forward, Mary E. Jones of Spokane, filed court documents on April 29, 2019, saying that he sexually assaulted her at the Together Church in Yakima, Washington. She has also written about the experience in a blog post published in 2021.

'They let us down': Former intel official has questions after Secret Service dropped the ball on Jan. 6

New documents from the Secret Service given to the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) revealed that the department's investigative bureau knew long before Jan. 6 that violence was coming. To make matters worse, their documents also show that they dropped the ball for at least an hour when it came to threats against protectees like then-Vice President Mike Pence, President-elect Joe Biden, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace also recalled that Donald Trump's protection detail was in contact with the Oath Keepers chief Elmer Stewart Rhodes.

Former FBI counsel says DOJ's Trump investigation appears much further along than previously thought

Andrew Weissmann, the former counsel of the FBI and prosecutor for Robert Mueller's special counsel team, said that recent reports that the FBI is questioning more and more people suggests that the investigation into the classified documents at Mar-a-Lago is moving much quicker than previously understood.

On a panel with former FBI assistant director for counterintelligence, Frank Figliuzzi, Weissmann explained that the fact that the Justice Department is seeking information from Trump's personal valet, Walt Nauta and the Presidential Records Act appointed aide Kash Patel "is a real sign that the investigation is way past the beginning stages."

National Archives swats down GOP claims that Dems inspired their referral of Trump to the DOJ

Partisan Democrats weren't the ones who referred former President Donald Trump to the Justice Department for taking documents from the White House, the National Archives said in a statement on Tuesday. Politico posted the statement from the Archives, responding to Trump's ongoing claims at political rallies and on his personal social media site.

“At no time and under no circumstances were NARA officials pressured or influenced by Committee Democrats or anyone else,” Acting National Archivist Debra Steidel Wall wrote in a letter to congressional Republicans.
