CNN host Pamela Brown refused to allow Donald Trump appointee David Urban to lie on her show about the Inflation Reduction Act that was just passed by Democrats only in a partisan vote in the Senate.

Urban told Brown that the trillions of dollars that will help inflation, deal with climate change disasters, incentivize Americans who want to buy electric vehicles and a slew of other things is not free. Republicans argue that it will make U.S. inflation worse, and Brown conceded that economists are split on whether it would help inflation. When the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office scored it, they called it a revenue gain for the government.

President Barack Obama's former ethics czar and Trump impeachment lawyer Norm Eisen told CNN that the revelations this week that many of the same agents whose communications were completely deleted from Jan. 5 and 6 were also the same people conducting a whisper campaign against Trump administration aide Cassidy Hutchinson after she testified to the House Select Committee.

The families spent years being attacked by conspiracy theorists motivated by Jones.

Ultimately, Judge Maya Guerra Gamble told the court staff that she was sending the jurors home after prosecutors took issue with Jones lying on the stand.

One of the Capitol attackers that brought a handgun to the riot on January 6, Guy Reffitt, was sentenced in court on Monday to a little over 7 years in prison. Among the things that Reffitt was caught on video threatening is that he wanted to kidnap House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and drag her down the steps of the Capitol.

When speaking about the sentence, "The View's" Whoopi Goldberg introduced the segment by noting the length of his sentence to applause from the audience.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Former "Daily Show" host Jon Stewart is back on Capitol Hill Tuesday to press the Senate to support the legislation to provide healthcare to veterans exposed to toxic burn pits.

"This country hangs by a thread, and that thread is the hundreds of legislative aides that work in these buildings that work really hard and they keep this thing going," Stewart told Raw Story on Tuesday. "The senators themselves, a lot of them, don't really know what's in this stuff. And there are egos, like — I've never seen egos like this and I'm in show business. And I've never seen corruption like this and I'm from New Jersey. So, you can imagine how f*cked this place is."
