In an appearance on CNN's "State of the Union," Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) told host Jake Tapper that she expects House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will "take action" against Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) for her racist attacks - but Omar saved her vitriol for House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) for doing as little as possible to rein in his caucus.

Boebert has been under fire for comments she made about her Democratic colleague, suggesting she is a terrorist, which led to a half-hearted apology from the Colorado Republican.

Some are urging caution as Democrats seek to hold Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) to account for the bigotry she directed at Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN).

Omar says her life has been threatened following Boebert's statements.

At least one House Republican defended the Islamophobic slurs made by Reps. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) against Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN).

The first-term GOP lawmakers have publicly smeared Omar for her Muslim faith by suggesting she's a terrorist, and Greene attacked Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) for calling on Boebert to apologize, but Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) suggested the right-wing pair were just representing the interest of their deeply conservative constituents, reported the Washington Post.

Thirty-eight Democrats from the House Progressive Caucus have signed on to a letter calling for leadership to strip committee assignments from U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), who was seen in at least three videos suggesting Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is a terrorist.

The lawmakers in a statement cite Boebert's "Islamophobic comments and incitement of anti-Muslim animus," and note Omar has been ther target of "death threats and vitriol" as a result. Representatives Jamaal Bowman (NY), Cori Bush (MO), André Carson (IN), and Pramila Jayapal (WA) led the move.

U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is criticizing House Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy for refusing to deal with the members of his "Ku Klux Klan" caucus who are ignoring and allowing the "violent targeting" of women of color members of Congress.

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough once again called out House minority leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) for being unable to control his caucus.

One Republican lawmaker, Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert, has been publicly harassing Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) over her Muslim faith, while two other Republican representatives, South Carolina's Nancy Mace and Georgia's Marjorie Taylor Greene, have been feuding on Twitter, and the "Morning Joe" host said it's past time for McCarthy to rein in his party's most bombastic members.

On CNN Tuesday, congressional correspondent Manu Raju reported that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) simply blew off a plea from House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to cease her feud with fellow Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC).

"Just this evening, behind closed doors, Kevin McCarthy summoned each of them for private meetings, discussing with them and telling them this message, he wanted them to, quote, 'stop it,'" explained Raju. "That message ... did not take hold. Greene emerged from the meeting and told our colleague Melanie Zanona that she would support a primary challenge against Nancy Mace. And she also said that Donald Trump would support a primary challenge against Nancy Mace."

On Tuesday, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) continued to slam Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) after a back-and-forth for most of the day that began with Greene saying that Mace was "trash".

The latest salvo began on the Guy Benson Show, where Mace tore into Greene as an unserious legislator who is only in it for fame and attention.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) on Tuesday played a threatening voicemail that she received from an apparent supporter of Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), whom she has been feuding with for the last several days.

At a press event, Omar again condemned Boebert for likening her to a suicide bomber, and then played audio of the voicemail that she received shortly after her ill-fated call with Boebert earlier this week.

On CNN Tuesday, anchor Wolf Blitzer clashed with former Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) over Rep. Lauren Boebert's (R-CO) attacks on Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) in which she likened her to a suicide bomber.

And when Christie claimed not to have heard the comments, Blitzer didn't hesitate to put him on the spot.
