Mike Lindell’s attorneys defiantly skip meetings and refuse to turn over evidence in Dominion lawsuit

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell's attorneys are refusing to participate in court-ordered meetings or hand over discovery material in a $1.3 billion defamation suit filed against him by Dominion Voting Systems.

"In a filing submitted to the judge Monday night, the other lawyers in the case say that Lindell's lawyers stopped showing up to meetings designed to hash out a schedule for the case the day after Dominion's lawyers served them with a request for documents," Insider reported Tuesday. "The filing was signed by attorneys representing every other party in the case, including Dominion, Sidney Powell, Rudy Giuliani, and Smartmatic."

Arizona governor swears he never knew about the fake Trump electors despite Republican involvement

The Arizona Republic reported Monday that Gov. Doug Ducey (R-AZ) said that he had nothing to do with the fake electors from Arizona for then-President Donald Trump. According to him, he didn't even know about the fake electors until Monday morning, in 2022.

Documents obtained by American Oversight revealed that many Republican officials in Arizona were directed by Trump's campaign advisers and lawyers over the plot to overthrow the 2020 election with forged documents. At one point, Politico's Nicholas Wu obtained a cease and desist document that the Arizona state government sent to a sovereign citizens group trying to pass off the fake document with an official seal.

Rudy Giuliani's fake electors scheme was 'nothing short of a coup': CNN

According to two of the CNN reporters who broke the story that former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani and campaign officials working for Donald Trump were behind a plot to create a false set of electors in order to steal the 2020 president election, the efforts had all the hallmarks of a coup.

Speaking with CNN's Chris Cillizza, Marshall Cohen and Zachary Cohen followed up on their report where they revealed "Trump and some of his top advisers publicly encouraged the 'alternate electors' scheme in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Arizona, Wisconsin, Nevada and New Mexico. But behind the scenes, Giuliani and Trump campaign officials actively choreographed the process."

'Another seditious conspiracy': Pro-Trump attorney slammed for his 'chilling' plot to submit fake electors

On CNN Monday, former Justice Department counterintelligence official and House Ethics Committee counsel David Laufman tore into pro-Trump attorney Boris Epshteyn after he admitted to his involvement in the plot to submit fake Trump electors in states President Joe Biden won.

"What he's admitting to is this scheme to submit these alternate electoral slates in at least seven states here, actually submitted them and said, hey, these are the actual electors," said anchor John Berman. "In other words, Donald Trump won these states even though he didn't win these states, and these electors will vote for him in the Electoral College. Is it clear exactly what law might have been broken there?"

Trump won't cover aides' January 6 legal bills — but is enlisting GOP lobbyist to do so: report

On Monday, CNN reported that former President Donald Trump's team is not going to use Trump's own wealth to cover the legal expenses of aides caught up in the January 6 Capitol attack investigation — but a prominent right-wing lobbyist is planning to do so, and the former president is coordinating the effort.

"While declining to use his own war chest to cover the sky-high legal bills that some of his current and former aides are facing, Trump's team has instead been working with American Conservative Union chairman Matt Schlapp to determine which individuals subpoenaed by the select committee should receive help from Schlapp's 'First Amendment Fund,' which is run by the ACU's nonprofit arm," reported Gabby Orr and Annie Grayer.

Effort to retroactively hand Arizona to Trump exposed — and docs reveal top Republicans were complicit: report

A series of emails expose an Arizona effort to retroactively hand the 2020 Arizona election to Donald Trump, even though the GOP's own audit showed he lost.

According to Rolling Stone, "the technology was complicated, but the plan was simple: Scan mail-in and absentee ballots in populous Maricopa County, remove the “invalid votes,” and recertify the state’s 2020 election count, surely declaring then-President Donald Trump the rightful winner."

With new subpoenas, Jan. 6 committee closes in on its ultimate target: Donald Trump

Lawyers, investigative reporters and congressional committees have one thing in common: They like to ask questions they already know the answer to. That's the big takeaway from the four subpoenas issued by the House committee investigating the assault on the Capitol on Jan. 6 of last year. On Tuesday, the committee subpoenaed former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani; former Michael Flynn lawyer and "election fraud" conspiracy theorist Sidney Powell; former Trump legal adviser and evangelical law professor Jenna Ellis; and former Trump adviser and TV commentator Boris Epshteyn. If this committee's investigation is being run like many others I've followed over the years, they already have the answers to most of the questions they plan on posing to all four of these witnesses.

Former Trump aide brazenly admits to fake elector scheme on national TV -- but says 'everything was done legally'

A former White House aide admitted Friday night on national TV that he helped organize a campaign to submit fake electoral certificates from several states that falsely claimed former president Donald Trump won the 2020 election.

Boris Epshteyn, who was subpoenaed this week by the House Select Committee investigating the Capitol insurrection, told MSNBC: "Yes, I was part of the process to make sure there were alternate electors for when, as we hoped, the challenges to the seated electors would be heard and be successful."

Most of Rudy Giuliani messages fair game for FBI, retired judge writes

NEW YORK — The feds will get their hands on more than half the messages on one of Rudy Giuliani’s cellphones, a retired judge wrote Friday, rejecting the former New York mayor’s claims the texts should be off-limits. The ex-judge, Barbara Jones, is serving as court-appointed special master reviewing materials seized from Giuliani’s law office and Upper East Side in April 2021. Giuliani’s defense team had marked 96 messages as “privileged and/or highly personal” on the mobile phone, arguing they should not be turned over to Manhattan federal prosecutors investigating Giuliani for possible viola...

REVEALED: GOP officials made damning admissions before signing forged election documents

Some of the Republican officials who signed phony electoral certificates made damning admissions to a reporter in the days after Donald Trump lost the presidential election.

The House select committee is investigating efforts by state-level Republicans, overseen by Rudy Giuliani and other Trump campaign officials, to send "alternate" slates of electors to Congress, and those GOP officials told Politico's Kyle Cheney they understood what they were doing was probably against the law.

Rudy Giuliani spearheaded phony electors effort -- and got help from an OAN host: report

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was the mastermind of the effort that resulted in fake electors submitting election certificates in five states, according to a new report in The Washington Post.

Republicans who were signed on to Arizona's phony election certificate refused to tell the Arizona Republic who organized the effort. One of the fake electors in Michigan said the call came from "an attorney working on behalf of Trump in Washington, D.C."
