Speaking to CNN's Jim Acosta, Riggleman said that the key piece of conspiracy theorists like QAnon and the MAGA world is fear. But fear is not a sustainable emotion for people.

Former FBI official charts all of the false claims by FBI heads about Jan. 6

The House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on Congress uncovered a number of problems that came from the FBI, Secret Service, Homeland Security and other law enforcement agencies that failed to work as they should have ahead of the attacks on Congress.

Writing for Just Security, former FBI agent Asha Rangappa explained that after the Sept. 11 Commission found failures, there were major changes to the government and intelligence community. In that case, however, there was no direct link to someone to blame. In the case of Jan. 6, there is a lot of evidence that federal agencies didn't sound the alarm to the U.S. Capitol, elected officials, the Capitol Police or the Washington, D.C. Mayor to warn that they were certain an attack was coming.

"Since 2010, J Street has conducted Election Day polling of the American Jewish community," the report explained. Data scientist explains why Dems won on persuasion — not mobilization

The red wave never manifested the way Republicans thought that it would, but the failures of the GOP are also paired with successes from Democrats, according to one data scientist who spoke to New York Magazine.

As the midterm season began, Democrats faced one strong headwind with inflation and poor job approval for the sitting Democratic president. Center for American Progress data scientist and analyst David Shor explained that the real success comes not from ushering voters to the polls through "get out the vote" efforts, but from persuading independents to trust them over Republicans.

Libero Milone was hired to fix the Vatican's 2015 banking problems but what he allegedly ended up facing was threats and a forced resignation by prickly and paranoid clerics. Now he's suing for $9.25 million.
