MSNBC Jake Sherman reported Tuesday that Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) will likely be removed from her leadership position next week because Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy was caught on tape saying that he's sick of her talking about former President Donald Trump.

It's the kind of drama that host Nicolle Wallace said that it would be "funny" if it wasn't so "bleep bleep tragic."

Former prosecutor Kristen Gibbons Feden is an expert in prosecuting sex crimes, most notably she was the one who helped get a conviction against Bill Cosby. So, when she told MSNBC's Ayman Mohyeldin that Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) "should be very worried," she would know.

According to Feden, if Gaetz pal Joel Greenberg "cooperates with prosecutors, if he gives statements consistent with" his letter "it will establish two for the prosecutors with the sex crimes against Gaetz. First, that he gave money in exchange for sex and second that sexual contact was with a minor. This wouldn't necessarily get the prosecutors over the finish line, right? Because they would still need to establish that this crime relates to interstate commerce which is a necessary precondition for federal involvement."

In an interview with WABC, an Asian woman who was beaten with a hammer by an anti-masker is speaking out.

"The View" co-host Meghan McCain blamed Democrats for what she called "bad messaging" around masks and the vaccine as the coronavirus pandemic enters its next phase.

According to McCain, saying that people still have to wear masks despite being vaccinated gives conservatives no incentive to get the vaccine to begin with. The goal of the coronavirus vaccine is to prevent people from dying or being hospitalized with severe cases of the virus. Presumably, that would be the incentive for being vaccinated — to avoid death. But that isn't enough of an incentive for some conservatives, McCain argued.

Former President Donald Trump's Florida club, Mar-a-Lago, closes over the summer because they're unable to accommodate people in the heat and humidity. So, he's headed up to his other club in Bedminster, New Jersey, where the heat isn't as bad.

But before he leaves, The Lincoln Project is hitting him with one more ad for the area that will flood his airwaves. The ads first began in early April, when the group of former GOP consultants targeted Trump with a message about Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) shoving him out of Republican influence. Trump, who has attacked McConnell since leaving office, is building the Republican Party without the influence of the former president.

The "Morning Joe" host reacted to video shot from Donald Trump's private Mar-A-Lago club, where he regaled guests with baseless claims about election fraud like Barry Manilow playing his 1970s hits in Las Vegas.

"Last Week Tonight" host John Oliver went after Fox News host Tucker Carlson on his show again. Oliver, who. has spent several shows attacking Carlson, this time focused on the ways in which the Fox host uses questions to spread misinformation, particularly when it comes to the vaccine for COVID-19.

In a super-cut of Carlson episodes, Oliver showed several of the "questions" that were proposed in an effort to incite panic over the vaccine. Oliver even went so far as to call Carlson one of the largest "super spreaders" of the virus.

Rudy Giuliani was raided by the FBI this week in what has proved to be the latest example of (alleged) inept criminal behavior by one of former President Donald Trump's closest advisers.

Giuliani is the target of an investigation by the US attorney's office in Manhattan surrounding his dealings in Ukraine while trying to drum up scandals about former President Joe Biden and any role he played in the firing of Marie Yovanovitch, Trump's former ambassador to Ukraine. Ironically, the investigation wasn't started under the Merrick Garland Justice Department, it began while Bill Barr was the attorney general. There was an internal debate whether or not to serve a search warrant for Giuliani in the final weeks of the Trump presidency, the Associated Press reported Friday.

As former Vice President Mike Pence comes back to politics, he's ignoring the serious attempts on his life by supporters of former President Donald Trump. In fact, he's attempting to dismiss them entirely, according to one conservative.

Speaking to CNN's Pamela Brown on Sunday, Bulwark columnist Amanda Carpenter, who previously worked for Sen. Ted Cruz's presidential campaign, called Pence out on the attempt.

CNN host Pamela Brown is the reporter who fact-checked Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS), when he claimed he wants to "move on" from the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol because the country must "heal." At the top of her show Sunday, she called out Marshall and other Republicans who are quick to move on from the issue tearing their party apart.

"Last night I spoke to Roger Marshall of Kansas," Brown began. "He was one of the six senators that voted against certifying the electoral results for two states hours later, and I asked about consequences of decisions like that from GOP lawmakers and if he had any regret."

Former President Donald Trump made a speech at his club this week spouting the same false claims about the 2020 election. Trump hasn't had any rallies since leaving office on Jan. 20 outside of the clubs he owns. Calling it the "fat Elvis" act, CNN host Jim Acosta played the video where Trump claimed that ballots are still being "found," even in states like New Hampshire, which wasn't even a close election.

Vandals slashed tires outside homes in a California neighborhood displaying Black Lives Matter signs.

One victim found the damage Tuesday morning in the Elmhurst neighborhood of Sacramento, and he suspects the vandalism is linked to the signs in their yards, reported KCRA-TV.

"I couldn't have survived if I was in America."

That's what one woman concluded in a video published Wednesday by the New York Times' opinion section, after recounting the weeks she spent in the hospital as a child being treated for a brain virus.
