Gay Trump operative furious to learn of GOP's hostility to LGBTQ community

Former Ambassador Richard Grenell was shocked to learn that the Republican Party doesn't support LGBTQ+ people, the site LGBTQ Nation reported.

The party once known for "small government" has passed a number of anti-LGBTQ laws around the country in recent years, most prominently in the state of Texas. The GOP is now considering Houston, Texas for the GOP's 2028 convention. Grenell found it so objectionable he called out the party.

Appearing on camera while Al Sharpton was running in the early days of the race, Ramaswamy indicated he was trying to pick which Democrat to support for the primary.

Georgia judge orders Trump-implicating special grand jury report publicly released

Judge Robert McBurney ruled that the report that was produced by a special grand jury that led to the eventual indictment of former President Donald Trump must be released to the public. He had previously blocked the release.

In the ruling, McBurney said that it would be released on Sept. 9.

Maddow reads humiliating excerpts of Trump's court transcript

There were a number of occasions in which Donald Trump's lawyers clashed with U.S. District Court Judge Tanya S. Chutkan during the Monday hearing about the trial date. Last night, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow did a dramatic reading of some of the court disagreements.

In one case, Trump lawyer John Lauro was scolded by the judge for refusing to tell her some other options for court dates prior to 2026. Over and over she asked for other dates, but Lauro refused to give any. So, she set the date for March 4, 2024.

A legal effort is gaining steam in New Hampshire to try to disqualify former President Donald Trump from the ballot in New Hampshire, on the grounds that the 14th Amendment disqualifies him as the instigator of an insurrection against the United States.

OAN staffers mortified after host dances in 'bizarre' MAGA rap video

Staffers at the far-right One America News Network are reportedly humiliated, and some even considering leaving the company, after the cable news channel's top host joined in a Trump-themed rap dance, reported The Daily Beast on Monday.

"MAGA rapper Forgiato Blow teamed up with the far-right conspiracy-laden channel’s top star Dan Ball for the 'Real America' video, which featured Ball railing against Donald Trump’s latest indictment and stiffly dancing like an uncle at a wedding," reported Justin Baragona. "Throughout the video, Blow interacts with other OAN personalities, including the channel’s 82-year-old owner, and runs through the newsroom while staff dramatically tear apart folders reading 'Trump Indictment #4.'"

Judge admonishing Trump could end up 'provoking' him: former FBI official

A national security expert said Monday that should the federal judge presiding over Donald Trump's Jan. 6 election conspiracy case be compelled to admonish or even discipline the former president over his public communications, including his use of social media, it could make a bad situation worse.
