UPDATE: Local affiliates are reporting that the "shooter" has been arrested. The police were the ones that were using the word "shooter" to describe the man.

UNC health says that they do not have any injuries reporting to the hospital.

Mark Meadows Georgia testimony implicates Trump

Ron DeSantis booed to his face by Black Jacksonville community members after shooting

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) was booed at the Jacksonville vigil for the three people murdered there on Saturday.

DeSantis is being accused of helping inspire the shooter who opened fire on a Dollar General in a Black neighborhood. The shooter had initially attempted to go to a nearby historically Black Christian university, but he was chased off by security guards.

Tropical Storm Idalia forms and it's predicted to become a hurricane that could flood Florida

The tropical depression currently near the Yucatan Peninsula strengthened into a tropical storm Sunday and is expected to become a hurricane in the coming days, and forecasts by the National Hurricane Center suggest it may threaten Florida by mid-week. The storm known as Idalia was about 80 miles southeast of Cozumel, Mexico, as of the 2 p.m. update by the NHC. The system had maximum sustained winds of 40 mph and was moving north at 2 mph. Indicted Jeff Clark's bid to pause his D.C. disbarment hearing swatted aside by judge

Former Justice Department official Jeffrey Clark was officially arrested overnight and is out on bail, but he must return to the Washington, D.C. metro for a hearing over his legal license.
