Jim Jordan blames the media for his attack on 10-year-old rape survivor

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) is among the many conservatives who denied the reports that a 10-year-old was raped and was forced to seek an abortion in another state.

Jordan tweeted about the story calling it: "Another lie. Anyone surprised?" It quoted a story about Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost's office, which also said that they found no evidence to support the rape charge.

Critics accuse Dr. Oz of getting campaign cash from 'legal money laundering'

Republican Pennsylvania candidate Mehmet Oz has drawn criticism for being a rich New Jersey resident attempting to buy a seat in the U.S. Senate for a state where he couldn't even spell the street where he "lived" correctly in his candidate filing paperwork.

According to the Daily Beast, however, Oz is now being accused of using a campaign finance loophole to essentially funnel money to his campaign.

There are likely far more witnesses being intimidated by Trump than the committee knows: ex-White House aide

Former White House communications director Alyssa Farah Griffin thinks that there are far more witnesses being subjected to Donald Trump's intimidation than the members are aware of.

At the close of the Tuesday afternoon hearing, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) revealed that another witness that the public had not seen got a phone call from the former president. From what the officials have said about the call, the person didn't answer the phone and all that is known is that the call was made. Had the person answered the call the witness could have testified to what was said. Without answering, however, there's little that can be done, legal experts explained.

Exclusive: Jan. 6 chairman says committee will share findings with the Department of Justice

WASHINGTON, D.C. — House Select Committee chairman Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) spoke to the press on Capitol Hill Wednesday saying that the Justice Department never asked for the actual transcripts from their interviews.

Politico reported that as Cassidy Hutchinson answered questions Griffin was sending text messages to Sarah Matthews, another former Trump staffer who is set to appear next week. She then reached out to Troye, who was in the hearing room on Capitol Hill.
