WASHINGTON, D.C. — Rep. Kathleen Rice (D-NY) was among those in the audience of the seventh public hearing of the House Select Committee on Tuesday and she hopes that the American people are seeing the shocking revelations.

"Those around him exhausted every attempt to overturn the election," she explained to Raw Story. "He went to the public. To his supporters. He encouraged them to go to the Capitol. He told them what to do. It's no surprise."

Legal experts agree Trump continues to look worse — but 'they're all still rationalizing his behavior'

The House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on Congress and attempt to overthrow the 2020 election held its seventh public hearing on Tuesday revealing the links that former President Donald Trump had with right-wing extremist groups and white supremacist militias.

Among the things that were included in the day of the video were clips from the interview that former White House Counsel Pat Cipollone from last week. While the committee members made it clear that he confirmed a lot of what was known, he also revealed that he and other White House lawyers destroyed all of the legal claims made by those like Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani that Trump could somehow overthrow the government legally.

Jan. 6 committee reveals secret plan to have Trump supporters march to the Supreme Court

The House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol presented evidence on Tuesday that Trump's allies had also planned to march on the Supreme Court.

During the seventh public hearing, one of the proposed tweets for Donald Trump to send out was telling people to come to the Ellipse and that they would then march to the Capitol.

Impeachment lawyer explains what the Jan. 6 committee needs to reveal at Tuesday's hearing to sink Trump

On Tuesday at 1 p.m. EST, the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on Congress and attempt to overthrow the 2020 election will hold their seventh public hearing. The presentation will focus on right-wing extremists and militias that mobilized around former President Donald Trump.

Speaking to CNN ahead of the hearing, former ethics czar and impeachment lawyer Norm Eisen explained that the Dec. 18, 2020 meeting at the White House was a key point in the investigation that the committee will discuss. One of the points the committee has discussed is Trump's inaction on Jan. 6. For hours, Trump refused to do anything. It was Vice President Mike Pence who ultimately was able to get the Pentagon to move soldiers to the Capitol. Meanwhile, the mayor was begging for help from governors in Maryland and Virginia. D.C. isn't a state, so the ability to move National Guard soldiers isn't an option.

Trump's real estate firm agrees to produce more documents in New York attorney general's civil case

Last week, real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield was ordered to pay $10,000 a day until it complies with a subpoena issued by New York Attorney General Letitia James. By Sunday evening, however, the firm revealed that the company will move forward with providing information.

In a statement to reporter Nancy Levin, Cushman & Wakefield said, "We are pleased to have reached an agreement with the [Office of the Attorney General] that relates to an interim stay of the Contempt ruling. Since the beginning of the New York Attorney General's investigation in 2019, Cushman & Wakefield has endeavored to cooperate with the OAG's investigation, responding to multiple document subpoenas and eight testimony subpoenas. We will continue to work to produce the documents requested by the OAG by Wednesday, July 13, in accordance with our agreement."
