Uvalde community comes together at school board meeting to call for ousting of the police chief

Members of the Uvalde, Texas community are calling for the resignation of the police chief after it was revealed that the police department and Texas officials are resisting the release of information about the shooting at Robb Elementary School on May 24, 2022, ABC News reported.

While the school board doesn't have any governing power over Police Chief Pete Arredondo, what findings there are about the attack showed the police were armed with large rifles and shields but still didn't go into the classroom to take down the mass shooter.

Partiers break into $8 million Florida home to hold blowout — leaving evidence on social media

An $8 million Seaside, Florida home became the site for a party when a group broke into the house to use it for their own shindig.

According to WEARTV, the owners of the home weren't aware of what was happening as they were away. According to the Walton County Sheriff's Office, photos and videos were taken showing many of the faces who participated in the event.

Maddow details J6 committee revelations on election workers who were terrorized by Trump supporters

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow began her Monday show teasing what is expected before the fourth public hearing by the House Select Committee investigating the plot to overthrow the election and the subsequent violence over it on Jan. 6. The focus of the committee will be on the pressure campaign against election officials and election workers who continue to be terrorized by fans of former President Donald Trump.

While Maddow cited the witnesses who will appear before the House, she also focused on the mother of one of the witnesses, Wandrea "Shaye" Moss.

John Eastman is being set up to take the fall for Trump — who says he 'hardly' even knows the lawyer: report

Rolling Stone is citing two people familiar with Donald Trump's plots around the Jan. 6 trials that the former president wants to throw legal adviser John Eastman under the bus.

Eastman, who previously worked as a law professor, penned the so-called "coup memo," which made the legal case for why former Vice President Mike Pence could vote down the 2020 certification of the Electoral College. After three public hearings from the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on Congress and attempt to overthrow the election, Eastman has garnered a lot of negative "attention," which has perturbed Trump.

Local election official's testimony strikes back at pro-Trump conspiracy theorists that accused her of stealing votes

Former Georgia election worker Wandrea ArShaye "Shaye" Moss will join Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, his deputy Gabe Sterling in the fourth public hearing by the House Select Committee addressing the Jan. 6 attack on Congress and attempt to overthrow the 2020 election.

Moss' statement was released by the committee Monday evening showing that she intends to address some of the conspiracy theories claiming that she somehow attempted to steal the election by passing something to her mother, who was also working to count votes after the vote.

Missouri Senate leader calls Highway Patrol after Eric Greitens' threatening campaign ad

Missouri Republican Eric Greitens put up a campaign video that called on supporters of former President Donald Trump to go "hunting" for non-Trump GOP officials. Now the Senate Minority Leader is contacting the Highway Patrol about the matter, the Kansas City Star reported.

With a gun slung over his shoulder, Greitens cites "RINO" season, RINO stands for "Republicans in name only," and is a term often used by Trump to attack members of his own party willing to oppose him.

Multiple people shot including an officer in Washington, DC during Juneteenth celebrations

DC Metro Police Department announced that they are responding to the area of 14th and U Street, NW, after multiple people were shot, including a police officer.

Videos of the scene showed them working to help tend to those who were injured. They also showed a chaotic scene once the shots were fired with people fleeing the area in terror.
