Marjorie Taylor Greene thinks Burning Man guests are being 'brainwashed' to think the Earth will explode

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) sounded the alarm that the attendees of Burning Man are being indoctrinated.

Burning Man has been largely made up of hippies who create a community and society for a week that operates on a barter system and gifts. The old-school Burning Man was once described by The New York Times as "50,000 stoned, half-naked hippies doing sun salutations while techno music thumps through the air." So, it's unclear who Greene thinks could be indoctrinated.

More Mar-a-Lago witnesses dump Trump-funded lawyer: court filing

It appears that a few more of the witnesses involved in the Mar-a-Lago document scandal have abandoned lawyer John Irving, who is being paid for by Donald Trump.

Just a few weeks ago it was revealed in a Justice Department filing that IT supervisor Yuscil Taveras found another attorney outside of Trump world attorney Stanley Woodward, and was beginning to set the record straight after giving false testimony to the grand jury. Now, it appears that in another filing for witness Carlos De Oliveira, lawyer John Irving revealed others are abandoning his services as well.

Heavy rains poured in the desert of Black Rock City, Nevada, where the festival Burning Man is held annually. The overabundance of mud meant that attendees couldn't drive out and even hiking the 6 miles to the main road proved to be difficult.

Over the decades, the week-long community has been largely attended by artists and hippies, but in the past several years, long-time attendees argue it has become too commercialized with Silicon Valley tech-bros, a new crop of millionaire and billionaire technology moguls, The New York Times reported in a 2014 report. In 2018, such attendees were trashed as "sparkle ponies."

Judge Steve Jones requested input from Mark Meadows and Fani Willis about whether one of Mark Meadows' actions being under his federal duties means his whole case must be removed to federal court, or if all of them must be. Willis responded to the judge first, and Meadows' attorneys did Thursday afternoon. Meadows argued that it's all or nothing.

Atlanta Journal-Constitution reporter Greg Bluestein revealed that Republican lawmakers in Georgia are now being plagued with death threats and other violent messages by Donald Trump's supporters.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' super PAC, called "Never Back Down," has given up in Nevada which will hold its primary on Feb. 8, 2024, reported NBC News.
