"The View" co-hosts ganged up on Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley for suggesting President Joe Biden wouldn't live through a second term.

The South Carolina Republican responded to Biden's official entry into the 2024 campaign by telling Fox News that vice president Kamala Harris would likely take over for Biden because she didn't think he would live to be 86, which would be his age at the end of a second term, and the panelists were appalled.

During ABC's The View on Thursday, the co-hosts discussed the Donald Trump's civil rape case.

Writer E. Jean Carroll took the stand in her civil suit against Trump on Wednesday to recall her alleged rape at the hands of the former president.

"The View" co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg joined former Donald Trump aide Alyssa Farah Griffin on Thursday in mutual anger over the Republican Party working to restrict the freedoms of Americans and their families.

"The View" co-hosts cracked up at a video clip of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis brushing off concerns about his poll numbers with an odd facial expression.

Host Whoopi Goldberg could barely contain her laughter long enough to introduce the video clip, which shows DeSantis during a visit to Japan responding to concerns about his polling against Donald Trump by opening his eyes wide and shaking his head from side to side.

During a discussion on the ongoing epidemic of gun violence, including a recent series of shootings of victims who found themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time, co-host Sara Haines blamed a variety of factors -- including a basic lack of empathy.

The co-hosts of "The View" started their Thursday show attacking Robert Kennedy Jr., who declared he would run for president on Wednesday. The younger Kennedy hasn't held any previous elected offices before, but concluded the presidency was an excellent place to start.

The moment comes as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) appears to be preparing to announce his presidential campaign taking on former President Donald Trump. "The View" showed a clip of DeSantis ranting about "pronouns," saying he was banning them from schools in the state, highlighting "being normal" again.

The co-hosts of "The View" wanted more out of the settlement between Dominion Voting Systems and Fox News.

The amount was about half of what Dominion sought in its defamation lawsuit, and there will be no public apology or disclaimer on the network. In the statement after the announcement, Dominion lawyers called it "accountability," which they said was their goal from the beginning.
