While ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC and Fox News all carried the first day of the Jan. 6 hearing for the special select committee, other right-wing networks had their own agenda.

Writing for CNN.com, media analyst Brian Stelter noted that "One America News viewers witnessed the whitewashing first-hand."

NBC News commentator John Heilemann attacked Republicans who came out against Reps. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) for participating in the Jan. 6 select Committee that will research the failures on that day and the days that led up to it.

Speaking to MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace, Heilemann said that he has never seen a hearing that has had such an emotional impact.

Republican Rep. Matthew Rosendale (R-MT) attacked fellow Republicans Reps. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) for what he said was just "blind ambition" that spurred joining the Jan. 6 Select Committee.

In reality, Cheney was actually the No. 3 in the GOP House until she spoke out against the Jan. 6 attack and supported accountability for it. She lost that position in primarily because she refused to move past the violent Trump-incited riots.

After the first day of the Jan. 6 Committee hearing, CNN host Jake Tapper made the point that the national police union is nowhere in sight.

Since Jan. 6, officers from the DC Metro Police and Capitol Police have been willing to speak out about what they experienced and the injuries that so many of their fellow officers experience. But the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) is nowhere to be found.

Brian Walsh isn't a Democrat, he's not a liberal operative and he isn't even a casual Republican. Walsh served as Sen. John Cornyn's (R-TX) spokesperson and for the National Republican Senate Committee. But even he thinks that his party has become hypocritical.

Taking to Twitter the day before the Jan. 6 Committee is set to begin, Walsh took to Twitter to trash his own party for pretending to support police while abandoning the Capitol Police.

MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace on Monday delivered a preview of the first hearing of the January 6th Committee that will begin by talking to police officers about what they experienced during the attack on the U.S. Capitol. According to Wallace, who previously served in President George W. Bush's administration, it will "disgrace" the Republican Party.

Wallace read aloud one account from an officer who faced off against President Donald Trump's supporters enduring both psychological and physical injuries.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell is being ridiculed Monday afternoon after an appearance on Real America's Voice where he appeared not to know the presidential line of succession. According to Lindell's predictions, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will resign, which he claimed would then reinstate Donald Trump. Unfortunately for Lindell, that's not the way the Constitution is written.

While he hasn't been able to cite a specific date in the past, in this interview he finally proclaimed, Friday the 13th will be when Trump is reinstated to the White House. He wasn't joking.

Queerty editor Graham Gremore made an observation Monday that could say a lot about Eric Trump's involvement in pending lawsuits involving Allen Weisselberg and the Trump Organization.

Florida Republicans now want to replicate the humiliation seen in Arizona as members of the party there searched for "bamboo fibers" in ballots.

A state Rep. Anthony Sabatini (R) falsely claims that "audits" in Arizona and Georgia turned up "irregularities" in the 2020 election and is using that lie to justify a so-called "forensic audit" on the five largest counties in Florida. That would include targeting Broward, Hillsborough, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach and Orange counties.

Sidney Powell revealed Sunday that she will be joining the legal team helping "hundreds" of Jan. 6 attackers who are currently in prison and asked for money to support them.

The problem, however, is that there aren't "hundreds" of people in jail for the Jan. 6 insurrection. Far from it, in fact. BuzzFeed justice reporter Zoe Tillman explained, there are just 66 in custody, with a few waiting for a detention hearing. A whopping 478 were allowed to go home awaiting trial.

President Donald Trump's top ally and fundraiser Tom Barrack was indicted last week on charges of working as a foreign agent for the United Arab Emirates. But a conversation between former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner and NBC News reporter Pete Williams revealed why Barrack could be the one to flip on the president.
