Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) lashed out at the House select committee on Jan. 6 because she believes it is an attempt to jail her.

Greene made the statement to Real America's Voice host Steve Bannon moments after the select committee's first Jan. 6 hearing was gaveled into session.

House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) was buried under an avalanche of criticism on Tuesday morning after appearing at a press conference in front of the Capitol on the day a House select committee began hearings on the Jan 6th riot that sent lawmakers -- including herself -- fleeing for their lives.

Addressing reporters, she tried to pin the blame for the violent events of the day on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), saying, "The American people deserve to know the truth. That Nancy Pelosi bears responsibility, as speaker of the House, for the tragedy that occurred on Jan. 6."

The U.S. Dept. of Justice arrested and charged over 500 people who attacked the U.S. Capitol on January 6, many in a coordinated effort to overturn a free and fair election. DOJ expects to charge about 100 others as well.

"The investigation and prosecution of the Capitol Attack will likely be one of the largest in American history, both in terms of the number of defendants prosecuted and the nature and volume of the evidence," the U.S. attorney's office in D.C. wrote in March, when the list of people to be charged was estimated at about 400, The Washington Post reported at the time.

Brian Walsh isn't a Democrat, he's not a liberal operative and he isn't even a casual Republican. Walsh served as Sen. John Cornyn's (R-TX) spokesperson and for the National Republican Senate Committee. But even he thinks that his party has become hypocritical.

Taking to Twitter the day before the Jan. 6 Committee is set to begin, Walsh took to Twitter to trash his own party for pretending to support police while abandoning the Capitol Police.

Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ), who made headlines earlier this year for speaking at a white nationalist conference organized by Holocaust-denying neo-Nazi Nick Fuentes, is holding a press event on Tuesday to discuss the purportedly poor treatment in prison being endured by jailed Capitol rioters.

In a tweet this Sunday, Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene slammed a restaurant in her state after it posted a message to its Instagram declaring that it would refuse service to unvaccinated customers.

The conservative CNN commentator who once served as speechwriter to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) was responding to a report from CNN's Melanie Zanona that states that rank and file Republicans want Reps. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) punished for taking part in the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6th Capitol riot.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) attacked an Air Force Lt. Colonel on Sunday, telling him that he's a "traitor."

She made the comment after Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) agreed to join the Jan. 6 special select committee as one of the Republicans willing to examine the attack on the U.S. Capitol in a bipartisan way. Greene didn't feel that Kinzinger was right for the job because he already voted to impeach Trump for the Jan. 6 attack.

But the conservative Alabama website www.yellowhammer.com managed to be in position to report on Greene's remarks. It happily described the event as one that "went off with no disruptions and instead, spells of raucous applause from the attendees."

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) lashed out at Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) on Saturday morning after a former McConnell campaign manager promoted a report that might derail the political aspirations of one of Donald Trump's friends.

On Friday morning, former McConnell aide Josh Holmes linked to a story that reported that former NFL star Hershel Walker -- who Trump wants to run for one of Georgia's U.S. Senate seats -- has been accused of threatening his former wife's life and that he might be unstable.
