"The View" co-hosts cracked up at Rep. Nancy Mace's cracks against fellow Republicans at the annual Washington Press Club Foundation Congressional Dinner.

The View pans MTG’s attention-seeking antics: ‘Looks like she skinned my puppy!’

"The View" co-hosts weren't impressed by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's attention-seeking antics during the State of the Union address.

The Georgia Republican frequently interrupted President Joe Biden with jeers and insults, and the co-hosts criticized her behavior and her eye-catching fur-collared jacket at the congressional gathering.

The View's Whoopi Goldberg unloads on GOP 'freaks'

"The View" host Whoopi Goldberg wants President Joe Biden to push back against Republicans who she accuses of trying to limit the scope of history instruction.

The View bashes Matt Gaetz's demanding the Pledge of Allegiance while refusing to follow it

"The View" started the show by calling out Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and his performative request that the Judiciary Committee say the Pledge of Allegiance at the start of every committee meeting. But Rep. David Cicilline (D-RI) didn't have it, demanding that if they're going to say the pledge that it not be led by those who attempted to overthrow the government.

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg explained that they already start every day with the pledge and a prayer, which is why Gaetz's demand seems like it's just for show.

Ex-Trump aide reveals why Ron DeSantis is targeting non-white Americans as The View rips his lies

The co-hosts of "The View" shredded Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) during their Wednesday show as he is blocking state universities from teaching anything involving people of color or diversity. His methodology is that because it will be illegal to teach classes like African American history and other topics, it would be useless to get a degree in those studies.

"We're probably the first state that's leading by example," said DeSantis.

The View's Whoopi Goldberg unleashes on Republicans for lies about Paul Pelosi's attack

The co-hosts of "The View" were furious Tuesday when discussing the behavior of Republicans and right-leaning pundits who crafted conspiracy theories about the brutal hammer attack on Paul Pelosi.

A chorus of Republican officials and candidates ridiculed Mr. Pelosi and his wife, then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi, after the attack as the conspiracies spread. The 21 elected officials who mocked the Pelosi family haven't yet apologized or corrected the record, the Seattle Times reported. The paper published a graphic showing the specifics about each member, which has been pushed out by former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL).

Trump team's inside joke about Lindsey Graham revealed

Former White House aide Alyssa Farah Griffin revealed that, while she was serving in Donald Trump's administration, they had a "running joke" about Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC).

"The View" began Tuesday with talk about Graham's latest interview with the Fox network on his dedicated support of Trump, in which he said, "I know the downside of Trump, but let me tell you about the upside of Trump. There are no Trump policies without the man, Donald Trump ... I want him to have another shot. Unfinished business ... I'm for Donald Trump because I know what I'm going to get."

Former Trump strategist fears having Marjorie Taylor Greene on Homeland Security will endanger Americans

Among the lawmakers named to key congressional committees this week was Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who got a plum spot on the Homeland Security Committee. It was something that led to frustration from those disturbed by Greene's years of conspiracy theories around the Sept. 11 attacks.

The women of "The View" started the show with their frustration over the appointment to the committee, more than the appointment of fib connoisseur and accused business fraudster Rep. George Santos (R-NY) to the small business committee.

The View says the reason Biden is being given the benefit of the doubt is 'he’s not a liar and a thief'

The co-hosts of "The View" debated the recent report that President Joe Biden had ten government documents in his storage closet at the Penn Biden Center from when he was the vice president. The president's lawyers claim that they immediately turned them over to the National Archives when they were discovered.

Conservative media is working to spin Donald Trump's stolen documents scandal as being the same as Biden, but as Whoopi Goldberg said that, "aside from the facts that Biden turned over the documents as soon as they were found and has been cooperating with authorities, unlike some folks who had to have a subpoena and said they had turned over everything."

The View ridicules Lauren Boebert's flop on MSNBC as '10 minutes of hilarity'

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) went on MSNBC at the 11 o'clock hour with Stephanie Ruhle where she struggled to keep up with the hosts fact-checks. The interview came after Boebert appeared on the Fox network, where Sean Hannity complained that he felt like he was talking to a liberal because Boebert refused to be a Republican team player.

"Uhhh.... okay," Goldberg said after watching the clip of the interview in which Boebert is called out for only having 20 votes on her side. She turned to colleague Alyssa Farah Griffin, who previously served in Donald Trump's White House before abandoning him.

Adam Schiff: The fear is not being thrown off a committee — it's what the GOP-led House will do in the 2024 election

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) has been threatened by Republicans who want to remove him from the House Intelligence Committee because he was an impeachment lawyer for Donald Trump's first trial over the bribery of the president of Ukraine. But speaking to "The View" on Thursday, Schiff made it clear that being kicked off of a committee is the least of his concerns.

"There are much bigger concerns, frankly, about what they will do," Schiff said of the fringe members of the GOP. "McCarthy wanted to overturn the last election even after the violence of that day, and my primary concern is what if we have a truly contested election next time? What if we have one that is very close? We could see McCarthy leading Republicans to try to overturn the result. It was a grave danger to our democracy two years ago. It would be another grave danger to our democracy in the future, but before McCarthy threatens to throw anybody off their committee, you've got to be focused on whether he even gets that job."

The View brutally ridicules Republican congresswoman who cried over marriage equality

President Joe Biden spoke at the White House about dignity and respect for all people, including LGBTQ couples and interracial couples, both of whom were legally prevented from marrying. Biden signed the marriage legalization bill on Tuesday, saying simply that marriage is about love and it was just that simple.

"The other guys say, you know, the respect for marriage, respect for marriage. You want people to get married. People are getting married and now you want to decide who they can marry. Back up. Back up," said co-host Whoopi Goldberg during Wednesday's opener for "The View."

'You were overthrowing the government — don’t you get it?': The View unloads on Greene for Jan. 6 fantasy

Over the weekend Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) bragged that if she was in charge of the Jan. 6 attack on Congress there would have been more weapons and she would have won. It has brought swift condemnation from Democrats and Greene was forced to dial it back with the claim she was just joking.

It didn't matter to the co-hosts of "The View," who attacked her for treating a plot to overthrow the United States a "joke."
